First Aid for Electrical Injuries

Never touch a victim still in contact with electricity. Disconnect power first. Call 911 immediately. Electrical injuries can cause cardiac arrest. Standard First Aid covers electrical response including CPR.

WorkSafeBC requires employers to maintain adequate first aid coverage at all times. Standard First Aid certification ensures your workplace meets the minimum requirements while giving your team the confidence to respond in any emergency.
